This means instant clarity when analyzing metrics → faster reporting, greater confidence, and no more cross-checking dashboards to verify data origins.

Read the full details here👇

What's New

  • Data source labels on every widget (visible beside the date range or bottom left corner)
  • Smart aggregation for multi-source widgets (shows primary source + count of additional sources with hover details)
  • Comprehensive source coverage (PMS systems, Google Ads, Meta Ads, GA4, reputation tools, social platforms, and CSV uploads)

Why This Matters: Intelligence Fabric Story

Before:

  • All metrics appeared identical regardless of data origin
  • Users had to manually verify which platform supplied each number
  • Cross-referencing multiple dashboards to confirm data sources
  • Risk of misinterpreting data from different systems

Now:

  • Clear visual indicators on every widget
  • Instant source verification at a glance
  • Single source of truth for multi-platform reporting
  • Confidence in data accuracy without manual checks

Business Impact

  • Faster reporting → no time wasted verifying data origins
  • Improved trust → transparent sourcing strengthens confidence in analytics
  • Better decision-making → users know exactly what data they're analyzing
  • Reduced errors → clear attribution prevents misinterpretation of cross-platform metrics
  • Enhanced credibility → transparent data sourcing in stakeholder presentations

The People Behind This Feature

How to Use It

  1. Open any Halo dashboard with widgets
  2. Look at the bottom of each widget for the data source label
  3. For single-source widgets, you'll see one platform name (e.g., "GA4" or "Yardi")
  4. For multi-source widgets, hover over the label to see all contributing sources
  5. Use this information to verify data origins when building reports or analyzing performance

Who Benefits

  • Regional Marketing Directors: verify campaign data sources instantly
  • Property Managers: understand which PMS data feeds reports
  • Analysts: build reports with source-verified metrics
  • CSMs: confidently present multi-platform analytics to clients
